Bloody Hell hand-written on wooden part of ships cannon close-up

Dearest reader… have you ever stopped to think why such profanity exists? 🤔

Profanity—also known as swearing, cursing, or cussing—is the usage of notionally offensive words for a variety of purposes: to demonstrate disrespect or negativity, to relieve pain, or to express a strong emotion such as anger, excitement, or surprise (Wikipedia).

It all began as a way of proving if one is mature enough; if one is strong enough; if one is “man” enough. Then it was said—if you got to be one, you ought to 🤬 swear. And the more vulgar the word, the more courage it supposedly gave to face anything.

But did you know that most swear words come from the two greatest sacred relationships? 🤔

And they are:
📌 The relationship between man and woman
📌 The relationship between man and God

Pause for a moment and let this sink in. That’s why the two most commonly used profanity are F*ck and H*ll.

They take the two most sacred relationships—and profane them.

The world sees things from two views: good and bad.
“He is not a bad person.”
“He is so good.”

But God sees from three views:
✅ Holy
✅ Common(Clean) used interchangeably
✅ Unclean

When we profane sacred/holy things, they become common.
When we pollute common things, they become unclean.

Swearing degrades what is good and holy. Now pause again:
“What the hll?”
“What the fck?” 🤔 🤔

📌📌📌📌

Let me emphasize this. God, in His loving relationship, has given us Heaven. But in rebellion we mock it, we twist it, and instead we elevate hell. Just look around at our matatu culture!!

God has given us sex as something sacred—between a man and a woman. But what have we done? We’ve degraded it, cursed it, and profaned it to fck!* Mhhh… does your spouse use vulgar language during intimacy??? 🤔

Now, let’s take another example—this time in ancient history.

The Romanian Revolution during the communist era was sparked by a Hungarian reformist pastor. The Bible Society had donated Bibles to Romania, but under Ceaușescu’s regime, the pages of Scripture were used as toilet rolls. One day, Pastor Tőkés went to the toilet and found the “tissue” roll made of Bible pages. Furious, he preached a sermon that ignited the revolution.

In this example, the Bible is a holy book. But when used as tissue, it wasn’t made unclean. It was profaned—made common. Left unchecked, that common thing would eventually be polluted into something unclean.

There is a process:
➡️ Holy → Profaned to Common
➡️ Common → Polluted to Unclean
➡️ Unclean → Needs Redemption

In other words:
Holy (Sacred) → Clean/Common (Secular) → Unclean (Sinful)

📍 If something is unclean, we cleanse it to become clean.
📍 If something is clean, we consecrate it to become holy.

And remember this: Holy and Unclean can never mix.

🛑 A mixture of clean and unclean makes everything unclean. Like one rotten potato spoiling the whole bag—makes sense now, eh?!
🛑 Likewise, a mixture of Holy and Common makes everything common.

My dearest reader, do you say you are born again? Have you heard someone say they are born again? Then understand this: curse words are not part of a person who professes the faith of God.

Have you been doing it simply because everyone else does?

This is your wake-up call. Repent. 🔥🔥

Only by sacrifice can you cleanse what is unclean.
